@smoothevoice i once heard that a famous composer said he had to believe in a god for two reasons the first because of mozarts music the second was the day his new born child looked into his eyes. god bless you and your daughter

"Music is well said to be the speech of angels: In fact, nothing among the utterances allowed to man is felt to be so divine. It brings us near to the infinite." @smoothevoice: your comment touched me. @o0flowerfairy0o: thankyou very much for uploading.

@ginharden @BhamsterWA @BhamsterWA Vide Cor Meum in and of itself is so incredibly moving (to tears) such that it is most fitting for the depiction of the death of such a pure and gentile human being, King Baldwin IV, in "The Kingdom of Heaven". Overwhelming beauty paired. Truly, this is "heavenly" music ~ among the most beautiful strings of music in the universe if not THE most beautiful .....Pure and beautiful without modern flaw. Takes my breath away!

@ginharden I agree with you. A sad and beautiful scene but the music makes it so powerful.

Well I to be honest, I absolutely don't know anything about opera too (and classical music in general). I usually pick some of it up when I watch movies or documentaries and then start my search like this :). This is also how I found out the beautiful opening music in "The Thin Red Line" is a masterpiece by Faure called "Im Paradisum", another piece of music that I simply loved right away just like this one! @94donnacone

It's not opera, it was written for this movie. @94donnacone
