@alex3373 The difference between the NOI and true Islam is for one, the NOI believes that God made an appearance on earth in their founder W. Fard Muhammad. The NOI's overall beliefs about God and prophethood are generally incompatible with Islam. The NOI also hold a racist theology, which is also incompatible with Islam, that knows no race.Those are the main but not only reasons. It is basically a different religion but titled Islam, causing confusing amongst people including yourself.
