Um.. yeah, giving her a "makeover" was not the point (nor a thoughtful one) of this video.

Very very clever Dove advertising. Did you all know that the company that owns Dove also makes the Lynx ads that portrays women simply as sex objects? That's clever advertising too. Shame hardly anyone knows the two polar opposite products come from the same company!!

and similarly, girls shouldnt be intimidated by those "hot older mature women milf models" they see in magazines either. They fake older women up to look young and hot too. They dont really look 28 with smooth skin with greyless hair. At least this "fake girl" girl has hair color before the fake job. Milfs arent always even that lucky. Its all fake. Our women, they be all fake! Mature models are 1000x more fake than young models however. Dove is just scared to show that though.

Im a fashion student and im doing a project where we pick a subject to work and i chose body abuse and i asked the teacher if i could plastic surgery and photoshop, because we are going to make corsets with our message made so that students in our college can read them, my message is gonna be 'nobody is perfect, so dont worry about yourself'.cause its sad young girls like me get heavily influenced by fake beautyxx

When they teach students in schools, about healthy body and how not to be anorexic, etc This video should be shown. That is fake.Shame not many people realise behind the advertisings, behind the computers are just normal girls.Who are naturally pretty. Its so shameful how people fall for these, putting themselves down saying their ugly. I admitt im a hyporcrite. Iv said to myself im ugly as well. But i believe if these advertising didn't use fakeness then maybe no one would of ever thought like that.

that's exactly the point.. the girl at the end doesn't actually exist because she is a product of hair and makeup, and computer alteration. And if you think that physical looks are what constitutes beauty then you are shallow - this girl could be really ugly on the inside. you judge beauty based on what society tells you is beautiful, but its all just dirty rags arranged all fancy to make you want to buy whatever crap product they are trying to sell. its sick how advertisers use women like that
